They Just Won't Stop Trying, Will They?
Hello, people of the interwebs! Time for more NASA news! NASA are currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of Pioneer 11, the second probe to visit Jupiter (the first being Pioneer 10) which gave way to the Voyager program, that is still going today. Some research was done at NASA (ba-dum tish), and it turns out that the Jovian moon Europa has got… Wait for it… HYDROGEN PEROXYDE!...

Super Hexagon : Reinventing Rage Quits
Hello. Do you know what a rage quit is? I know what a rage quit is, but we’re not here to talk about that. Yesterday evening, I bought Super Hexagon for my iPad. Some of you may not know this, but Super Hexagon is probably one of the hardest games out there. It has six levels that are rated by difficulty as : Hard, harder, hardest, harderest, something else and hardestestest. Summed...

NASA Budget Cuts
The new budget has now been made by Congress (something that we all dread… Even though I’m not american) and it turns out that NASA hasn’t been given a very big budget (‘cos the americans get their noses into everything and start wars which means that they have to pay for that) which means that not all science will be carried out. Now that’s lovely, innit? To find...

NASA news #2
That was quick! This is a short update, though. The three astronauts on the Soyuz TMA-08M have reached the International Space Station in just under six hours and four orbits. I think that’s the fastest time they’ve ever managed! Apart from that, the Herschel space observatory has taken some images of a big star cloud known as ‘W3’. So we now know how big ol’ stars...

NASA news
Hullo! I’ve been clever enough to start a new series! It will be just like my good old “Tube updates” series, that sadly ended on an abrupt note. It will come up every time something interesting happens at NASA. So! The next trio that will launch to the International Space Station will be launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome at 4:43 pm. EDT. The crew is :...

Chelsea Weren't Useless!!! Yay!!!
…About a week or so ago, yes I know, I’m very slow when it comes to news… Still, can’t really say much, I fell asleep at half-time, all I can say is the first half wasn’t good, neither was it infernally catastrophic. I felt like I was going to kill Steaua… Yay!

Chelsea are useless
Chelsea were useless on Thursday night. Full stop.  Torres had quite a few opportunities to score a goal, but for some reason he kicked the ball right out o’ the stadium. Nnnnnnnnice. Indeed. Benayoum (probably the worst player), by coincidence, had a REALLY, I mean REALLY good chance to score a goal, but he shot it in the wrong direction. Ya-yea.  Steaua was bad, too, BUT AT LEAST THEY...

South West Trains Maps
Hello! I have decided that today, I shall put up my South West Trains maps! The logo is not that good, I know, but anyway, here you go (station names not included and they might not be in the right order, but I’m sure you can sort that out.)

Map-It
Okay, I know the title may sound lame, but if you’ve seen my previous post, it’s a project that I’m currently working on. I want to draw every bit of National Rail, operator by operator. I started with South West Trains, because my uncle works for them, and I have an ambition of following in his footsteps, and becoming a driver on SWT. After that, I started in alphabetical order,...

I've been busy, ok?
Hello, lovely viewers! I haven’t done a post for months! Why am I putting exclamation marks for no reason!  Anyway, I am dreadfully sorry that I haven’t been updating this thing. I have reasons:  1. I didn’t do anything for the summer because I was taking a break.  2. I am now in 4th grade (I live in Romania), so I need to do lots of tests and stuff so I can get to 5TH grade...

Chelsea FC Wins UEFA Champions League
Last night (more or less 1 a.m.), the final match of UEFA Champions League was held in Munich between Bayern Munich (who have won the cup four times before) and Chelsea. At the end of the first half the score was 0-0.  At the end of the second half, the score was 1-1. Due to this, 30 minutes were added.  At the end of extra time, the score was 1-1, so each team took five penalties.  At the end...

On the 7th night of their retrospective, K.W. performed their 1991 release “The Mix”, which is really a remix album, but I bothered to put up a video, anyway…  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE8hCEfRakE&feature=related.  I have not found any “Tour de France” recordings yet, from night 8.

Hello, hello, welt (I’m running out of ideas of how to say hello). On the 15th, the Mr. Machines performed their 1986 album “Electric Cafe”, nowadays known as “Techno Pop”. I did find SOME links, and it was a bit hard, as the search engine hates me. (Example: It shows me the EXACT same video for about 10 pages.)  For “Boing Boom Tschak”...

Today, we all stand at Seven Sisters, the station next to the Victoria Line depot. Now, comes the last of it’s kind, a to-be extinct species, THE 1967 VICTORIA LINE TUBE STOCK!!! Says me 1 year after the tour of the last 1967 stock train left the station. It had a good time, rolling for half a century. The trains were brilliant, having a nice working smile on the front, with the annoying...

Plans for this summer
Hello, people! I have appeared out of nowhere! (again).  Today I shall be posting what I will do over the summer: First, I shall be going to my grandmother’s house and I will stay there for a month (which means eternal silence for 3-4 weeks).  I will stay home for a few days and then I will go to England for about 14 days.  Then I’ll take the Eurostar to Perrrissss and stay there...

Touching toxic material
Hi! And yes, I did touch toxic material. It’s one of my wishes, actually.  THE STORY:  I had to bring some floor varnish to school, to make some bells shiny after I painted them. The substance is toxic, indeed, but I was ready. I bought some protective gloves along, with some desk protection. It went pretty well, until I went home. I realised that there was some kind of liquid in the bag,...
